Fight for PEACE

Just me coming to encourage you to FIGHT for your PEACE—because the enemy wants to steal it and destroy it.

I had coffee with friends this morning, and honestly… it was just what I needed.

You know how we are—we sit down, start talking, and before long we’ve let the whole week spill out. And once that’s out, then we can get real about how we’re actually doing.

And truthfully?

Some of us are NOT doing good.

Chaos is ALL around us.

Family issues.

The news.

The weather.

Neighbors.

You name it… chaos is there.

And then come the thoughts—swirling, overwhelming, and sometimes downright destructive:

• Self-doubt

• Hopelessness

• Anger

• Fear

That’s enough… you know exactly what I mean.

So what do we do?

Most of the time, we isolate.

We pull back because we think we’re the only ones feeling this way.

And that right there?

That’s dangerous—and exactly what the enemy wants.

Here’s the truth you need to come back to:

We are more than conquerors.

We are the apple of our Father’s eye.

We have been set free by the blood of Jesus Christ.

We are not who we used to be.

And we can NEVER be separated from the love of God. (Romans 8:37–39)

So we fight back.

We speak life over ourselves—or we ask a friend to help us.

Text someone: “Please pray for me.”

Read something.

Listen to worship music.

Watch something encouraging.

Do SOMETHING that begins to bring life and PEACE back into you.

Because it’s already in you—you are a fighter.

Here’s what I did today:

I wrote these statements on an index card and kept them in my pocket so I could pull them out when my thoughts started going sideways.

Maybe they’ll help you too:

• It’s NOT for me to figure out

• Walk in PEACE

• Show PEACE to others

• Let PEACE give me JOY

• No ugly looks on my face

• Let my light shine—Be the LIGHT

And if these don’t fit exactly where you are, that’s okay.

Take time with God.

Listen for His still, small voice.

Let Him show you what YOU need.

Please know this…

Even though we’re not face-to-face, I am always encouraging you.

When many of you reply to emails, I think of you and say a prayer of thanksgiving for putting you in my path.

You are LOVED.

You are cherished.

And you can fight for your peace.
