Why Women Need to Each Other
Sep 04, 2025There’s just something about getting together with other women, isn’t there? You sit down with acup of coffee, and before you know it, you’re laughing, sharing stories, maybe even shedding a few tears. And when you walk away, you feel lighter, stronger, and more encouraged than when you came in.
That’s the beauty of women gathering—we remind each other we’re not alone.
But here’s the thing: life gets busy. Between work, family, and responsibilities, it’s easy to let real connection slip through the cracks. And yet, if we’re honest, our hearts crave it. God never meant for us to go through life by ourselves. He wired us for community and fellowship.
Why it matters:
- Women are influencers. Whether we realize it or not, we’re shaping the lives around us every single day—our kids, our friends, our neighbors. When we gather, we sharpen each other and remind one another of the purpose God has placed inside us.
- Communities need women. In small towns especially, women are often the glue that holds things together. We’re the ones organizing meals, checking in on neighbors, bringing life into the church and the school, and keeping traditions alive.
- We need each other. Sometimes life is heavy, and we just need a friend who gets it. A kind word, a hug, or even just a good laugh around the table can change everything.
Who it affects
When women take the time to connect, it doesn’t just bless us—it blesses everyone around us. Our families grow stronger, our churches are healthier, and our communities thrive. And maybe most importantly, when we gather, we pass on a legacy of faith, and hope to the next generation of women who are watching us.
I’ve seen it again and again: when women come together, something shifts - we leave refreshed, strengthened in our faith, and ready to live life with joy.
Take action
I want to encourage you—don’t wait for “someday” to start gathering with other women. Whether you’re in a big city or a rural town, there are women right around you who need the same kind of connection you do.
That’s why I created Community Connection Events—simple, meaningful gatherings that any woman can host in her own town. These events are about encouragement, faith, and reminding each other that we are stronger together.
